Chihuly Glass Exhibit and Glass Blowing
For the past one hundred years, the organization known today as the Morean Arts Center has been a resource and a destination for artists and art lovers. The Morean Arts Center’s story began in the early 20th century when a group of local artists in need of a place to work, teach and display their work connected with the Florida Winter Art School.

Clearwater Aquarium
Clearwater Marine Aquarium’s Education Department is dedicated to inspiring guests of all ages to appreciate the marine environment while promoting conservation action and developing an understanding for the irreplaceable value of all life in our world’s ocean. By teaching children and adults the importance of conservation, ecology and stewardship, we believe they will apply this knowledge to make sustainable choices and take an active part in preserving our marine environment.

Dali Museum
The Dalí Museum (St. Petersburg, Florida) has been the unofficial heart of fine arts in the Tampa Bay area since its opening in 1982. The debut of the new building in January 2011 has contributed to the cultural renaissance – a movement that has experienced an explosion of artistic institutions and outlets that both residents and visitors to the destination can enjoy.

Dolphin Excursion
The Dolphin Racer offers our feel favorite “high-speed ride with dolphins” with a narrated cruise of the scenic waterways surrounding the beautiful Gulf Beaches. The boat creates a large wake in its path, inviting the dolphin to jump and body surf alongside. This bright yellow vessel has an open deck for seating up to 120 passengers.

Fort Desoto
The largest park within the Pinellas County Park System, Fort De Soto park consists of 1,136 acres made up of five interconnected islands (keys). These keys are home to beach plants, mangroves, wetlands, palm hammocks, hardwoods and scores of native plants.

Shell Island
Shell Key Preserve is a 1,828-acre preserve located in the mouth of Tampa Bay, which includes a 195-acre barrier island known as Shell Key.  This is a perfect secluded getaway spot without having to travel far. The Preserve is an important sanctuary for nesting, wintering, and migrating birds, as well as a popular fishing and boating area. Access to Shell Key is limited to water vessels, including private boats or public shuttles such as the Shell Key Shuttle.

Tarpon Springs – Greek Village
The 140-acre area, first populated by Greek immigrants in the 1880s drawn to the area’s sponge diving industry, is home to hundreds of residential and commercial buildings and about a dozen sponge boats. At its center: St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, with a congregation of 800. People still live and work along the sponge docks, and many of them still speak Greek.
