Chiefs vs Buccaneers. Being a family from Kansas City, this couldn’t have been a better year to have ties to Tampa Bay. Everyone here is ready for the Big Game today. Of course, we can’t wait to see the matchup between Mahomes and Brady. I don’t think there could have been any better competition this year for the NFL. Although our cheers today will be more for the Chiefs, our second home team will always be the Buccaneers.
It’s been so fun to watch Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes work together to, all but, re-write the position of Quarterback. I feel they did a unique job of exploiting the talents of Mahomes vs trying to develop him into just another player, running the same old plays. His unique talents and methods have been an incredible war-chest for the team.
You can’t ignore the fact that Tom Brady will be taking the field in his 10th appearance to such a Big Game. Of course, that has been tagging him the GOAT. But the controversy that there could never be another GOAT, isn’t true. I do believe, there can only be one at a time. Tom Brady’s time is now.
Instead of enjoying beautiful weather in Tampa (67) today, we will be cozy inside avoiding the 8 degrees outside. It’s been fun to see the posts and enthusiasm of the FB group Arrowhead South. Go Chiefs! We have enjoying the opportunity to live vicariously through our fellow Chiefs fans as they visited some of our favorite places.
Our prediction… 28-30 Chiefs. Good luck to all, and if the game goes to crap, there’s always the commercials to watch. lol #GoChiefs #GoBucs
